I started over at a point when the world said I was supposed to be winding down.

For years I believed the story everyone tells you: that the big moves happen in your twenties and thirties, and after 40 you’re just supposed to hold on to what you’ve got. That the tech world belongs to someone younger, faster, more plugged-in. That it was too late to build something of my own.

None of that turned out to be true.

I built this whole thing — the business, the community, the content, all of it — on an iPad and a laptop, teaching myself as I went, using AI tools that didn’t even exist a few years ago. No team. No tech degree. No permission. Just a decision that my next chapter was going to be one I actually chose.

Here’s what I know now that I wish I’d known sooner: our age isn’t the thing holding us back. It’s the advantage. You’ve spent decades learning how people work, how to solve problems, how to tell what matters from what doesn’t. That’s not baggage — it’s your superpower. That’s the exact foundation this kind of work is built on. The tools are new. Everything you bring to them isn’t.

This blog is where I share what’s actually possible when you stop counting yourself out. Real steps, real tools, real honesty about what works and what doesn’t. I only ever recommend things I’ve used myself. No hype, no “get rich quick,” no pretending it’s easier than it is. Just one person a little further down the road, turning around to say: come on — it’s not too late, and you’re more ready than you think.
