Let me say the thing nobody in this space wants to say out loud: if you have bought the courses, downloaded the prompt packs, joined the programs, and still ended up more confused than when you started, that was not you failing.
That was the tools failing you.
The Problem Was the Tools, Not You
I know because I lived it. I spent money I did not love spending on things that promised to be simple and turned out to assume I already spoke a language nobody taught me. “Just set up your funnel.” Just? “Drop this into your automation.” What automation? Every course seemed to start on chapter four, as if everyone in the room had already read chapters one through three without me.
And here is the part that really got me: I would close the laptop and feel stupid. Like everyone else understood it and I was the one who could not keep up. Like maybe I had waited too long, or my brain was not wired for this, or I simply was not a “tech person.”
None of that was true. If you have felt it, none of it is true about you either.
Why So Much Online Business Advice Misses the Mark
Here is what was actually going on. Most digital business resources are built by people in their twenties and thirties, for people in their twenties and thirties, who have six unbroken hours a day and already know the vocabulary. They are not built for a woman who is constructing something real on the side of an already-full life. When a tool does not fit your hands, it is not because your hands are wrong. It is the wrong tool.
You have done harder things than this. You have raised people, changed careers, and survived losses that would flatten most of the people selling you these courses. You are not short on grit or intelligence. You were handed the wrong map and told the problem was you.
It was not.
So if you have been carrying around “I could not figure it out” like it is a fact about who you are, I would like you to set it down. It is not a fact. It is what happens when good people get handed bad tools.
