How this site works
Disclosure
Short version: some of the links on this site earn me a commission. It never costs you anything extra, and it never changes what I recommend.
Here is the longer version, in plain English.
Affiliate links
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the company pays me a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you found the product on your own.
When a post contains affiliate links, I say so at the top of that post, before the first link. Not buried at the bottom, and not in small grey type you need to hunt for.
My rules about what I recommend
These are the rules I hold myself to, and you are welcome to hold me to them.
I only link to things I have actually used. Not things I have read about, not things someone offered me a commission to promote. If I have not used it myself, it does not go on this site.
I tell you what something costs before you click. You should be able to decide whether a thing is worth your time before you land on a sales page.
I tell you when not to buy something. If a tool is worth having later but not yet, I say so. Most of what I recommend has a right moment, and week one usually is not it.
I do not make income claims. I will never tell you what you could earn, because I do not know, and neither does anyone else who tells you. I share what I did and what happened. What happens for you is your own story.
A commission never buys a recommendation. If two tools do the same job and the one that pays me less is better for you, I will tell you the one that pays me less is better for you.
My own products
Some links go to things I made myself, like guides and toolkits in my shop, or my community. Those are mine, so I earn the full amount rather than a commission. I flag those the same way.
Questions
If you ever want to know whether a specific link earns me anything, just ask. I will tell you straight. You can find me in the free community.
